How to Claim

Using Your Bupa Insurance at The Physio Lounge

We're a Bupa-recognised provider, which means once you have your authorisation code we can bill Bupa directly on your behalf. You won't need to pay upfront — just follow the steps below to get started.

  1. See Your GP

    Bupa generally requires a GP referral before authorising physiotherapy treatment. Book a telephone or in-person appointment with your GP to request a physiotherapy referral letter.

  2. Get Your Authorisation Code

    Contact Bupa on 0845 609 0777 to request your pre-authorisation number. Have your policy details and GP referral to hand when you call.

  3. Call Us to Book

    Once you have your authorisation code, call us on 0800 368 9775. Share the code when booking and we'll arrange your appointment at your preferred clinic.

  4. We Bill Bupa Directly

    There's no upfront payment required from you. We invoice Bupa directly on your behalf, so you can focus entirely on your recovery.
