My name is Josh and I completed my MSc physiotherapy degree in Newcastle in 2019. Previously, I was an assistant modern pentathlon coach working with athletes at national and international level within their age groups. Since moving to Liverpool in 2019, I have worked in the NHS, private hospitals and clinics. As an active swimmer and water polo player, I understand the physical demands of sport and the frustration that injuries can bring.
I enjoy helping people achieve their specific rehab goals, whether its return to sport or increasing function. My clinical interests are spine, shoulder and knee injuries with an emphasis on evidence-based practise. I have additional qualifications in sports massage, strength and conditioning and swim and athletics coaching. I am also a student educator.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our two children, staying active through swimming and water polo, and travelling whenever possible. One of my favourite experiences was a one-month campervan adventure around New Zealand.
