Ever wonder if the exercises that you’re doing are specifically targeting weak muscles? Do you have an injury that you want to prevent from re-occurring? Do you lay in a class thinking… am I doing this exercise correctly? Are you one of those people that don’t like working out in front of others? Someone who would never be seen in a gym, but want to work on your strength and endurance? Then Pilates could be just what you need.

Physio led Pilates sessions are designed to be specific to you. From the moment you walk into the session, to when you leave, Pilates is about tailoring a program to your needs. Each muscle group is assessed for its strength, endurance and effectiveness. Understanding your medical history gives more insight in how best to help you get the most from classes. Combining our Physio knowledge of the body, injury, recovery and movement with the 1:1 assessment will reassure you that each exercise you are asked to perform will be appropriate for you and your body to give you the most benefit. Not only are you assessed for specific weaknesses, but you are taught exercises that can specifically target them and prevent future injuries!

Doing Pilates in a large group for the first time can sometimes be daunting; but a 1:1 session can help boost your confidence and teach you the key elements so you can easily grasp the concept. You will feel more confident with the exercises, and learn how to perform them properly prior to entering a group setting.
